ABOUT SOPHIE JUNE
The Day it all began.
Sophie June is a German rock-pop singer and songwriter. She discovered her passion for music and acting at the age of 11 after she was given one of the main parts in a musical for children at the local music school. During the next four years she performed in several school theater plays and band contests for teenagers.
When she turned 15, she met Herman Rarebell, the former drummer of the “Scorpions”, who introduced her to her first producer Ludwig Raab. Encouraged by her producer, she started working on her singing skills with the vocal coach Sandrina Sedona. After a year of vocal coaching classes and a workshop in Tuscany, conducted by Sandrina Sedona and Petra Scheeser, Sophie felt ready to start recording her first songs.
By the age of 16, Sophie was invited to perform live at the “Tollwood Festival” in Munich.

After her graduation in 2012, she traveled through the US for three months, where she found inspiration for new songs. The experiences that she made during this time intensified her wish to become a professional musician and work even harder to make her dream come true.
In 2013 she met the musician and producer Elvin Dandel with whom she is currently recording her first studio album. In August 2013, Sophie was invited to perform as an opening act for Elvin and Ricky Dandel at the open air concert “Smart Hermannstadt Rock” in the city center of Sibiu, Romania, in front of 10.000 people. The concert will be aired on Romanian television in autumn this year.
